Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
clickd is built by developers who care about software craftsmanship — and that extends to how we handle your data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. We've written it to be readable, not just legally defensible.
What We Collect
When you sign up for clickd, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, and any details you add to your workspace. As you use the product, we collect usage data — which features you use, how often, and general interaction patterns. We also collect standard technical data like IP addresses, browser type, and device information. We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how people use the product so we can improve it. Payment card numbers are handled entirely by our payment processor and are never stored on clickd's servers.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to operate and improve clickd. That means running your account, delivering the product features you use, sending you important service communications (like billing receipts or security alerts), and improving the platform based on how people actually use it. We may occasionally send product updates or announcements — you can opt out of these at any time. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure, enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure. We use AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel via MFA-protected systems, and we maintain audit logs of all access. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].
Third-Party Services
clickd uses a small number of trusted third-party services to operate: cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, payment processors for billing, and analytics tools to understand product usage. Each provider has their own privacy practices, and we only share the minimum data they need to perform their function. We do not integrate third-party advertising networks.
Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (for example, billing records). You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting [email protected] — we will action that request within 30 days. Aggregate, anonymized usage data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for product analysis.
Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct any inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict processing, and export your data in a portable format. If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority under GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. There is no fee for data requests and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you by email if the changes are material. Continued use of clickd after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
